- This bag is hand-sewn by a female sewing co-operative in India. The co-op is a self-directed group of women who have come together to demand fair wages.
- Each bag is hand-dyed in our dye studio using natural dyes. The dyes are extracted from natural resources and used to colour the cloth. Each piece goes through a series of slow and enriching steps to make the piece you will receive. The process of natural dyeing is more environmentally sustainable than the synthetic dye process, using less water and chemicals to create rich and dimensional colour straight from nature.
- Each piece is sewn and dyed by hand so no one item is the same. Colour variances can and will occur. This is the beauty of working with natural materials and we hope that you will embrace their character and beauty.
